Empowering Year 5 Pupils to Make Positive Choices
Fit Futures is an exciting new tag rugby programme designed to promote healthy lifestyles and physical activity among Ealing’s Year 5 pupils. By engaging students at this crucial age, the programme helps build positive habits and encourages lifelong enthusiasm for staying active, fostering healthier futures for our children.
With Ealing’s primary schools facing some of the highest childhood obesity rates in the country (Ealing Council, CYP JSNA), Fit Futures focuses on early intervention in areas like Southall, Greenford, Northolt, and Acton. These sessions offer not only a chance to get moving but also an opportunity for children to develop teamwork, confidence, and resilience in a fun, supportive environment.
Fit Futures is delivered completely free of charge to six primary schools across Ealing. Each school will benefit from:
Through this fun and inclusive programme, Fit Futures empowers children to make positive choices for their health, builds their confidence, and sets them on a path toward a more active and fulfilling future.
