Andy Hodge wins £500 in the first Ealing Trailfinders Foundation 50/50 raffle

Ticket 00395 came out at half time on Saturday 31 October, and £736.98 from the raffle goes to the Ealing Trailfinders Foundation.

Ealing Trailfinders player Matas Jurevicius drew the ticket during the game against Doncaster Knights. It belonged to Andy Hodge, who takes home £500.

‘Winning the 50/50 was a fabulous surprise, and the icing on the cake for such a successful Trailfinders day!’ said Andy.

It was a good day all round at Trailfinders Sports Club. Ealing Trailfinders beat Doncaster Knights 45-26, and Trailfinders Women beat Sale Sharks 33-14 in the semi-final of the Jaecoo Next Gen Cup. Tickets were sold around the ground, by the shop and at the clubhouse entrance, and by sellers walking through the crowd and hospitality.

In all, £1,260 was taken. Half went to Andy, up to the £500 prize, and £736.98 goes to the Ealing Trailfinders Foundation after fees.

‘We wanted a simple way for fans to support the Foundation on a match day. Every ticket bought supports our work in Ealing. Congratulations to Andy, and thank you to everyone who took part,’ said Ian Isham, Head of Community and Foundation at Ealing Trailfinders.

Every ticket helps the Ealing Trailfinders Foundation run its sessions in Ealing. If you’d like to give more, £10 is the cost of one place at walking rugby. Donations support the Foundation’s work wherever it’s needed most.

The next 50/50 raffle is on Sunday 15 November, when Ealing Trailfinders play Coventry. Buy your tickets for Ealing Trailfinders v Coventry
