Team Talk: A New Approach to Wellbeing for Older People in Ealing
Helping older residents feel connected, healthier, and more supported, thanks to funding from The National Lottery Community Fund.
What is Team Talk?
Team Talk is an exciting new wellbeing programme launching in September 2025 in Ealing, designed to support older people who are facing loneliness, long-term health conditions, and the challenges of the cost-of-living crisis.
This two-year initiative offers a safe, welcoming space every week where local residents can meet, connect, and take part in engaging, inclusive activities that are built around the principles of the Five Ways to Wellbeing.
Weekly Sessions at Trailfinders Sports Club
Each week, participants will enjoy a two-hour session held at the accessible and well-equipped Trailfinders Sports Club. Led by a dedicated team of wellbeing coaches and volunteers, sessions include:
Social Activities
From community reminiscence and quizzes to board games and creative crafts, our sessions are all about building new friendships and rediscovering shared interests.
Gentle Exercise
Enjoy walking sports, mindfulness walks, and chair-based fitness tailored to your needs. Our coaches also offer guidance on improving physical and mental wellbeing.
Practical Support
Learn money-saving tips, digital skills, and batch cooking techniques. You’ll also have access to workshops delivered by partners covering energy support, budgeting, and more.
